Restaurant POS software in Karachi
GrandPOS is built in Karachi by Grandify Technologies, and the things that make it fit here are not marketing points — they are consequences of the rules and conditions restaurants in this city actually operate under.
Sindh Revenue Board rates are built into the bill
Sindh charges restaurants a standard sales tax rate on the bill, reduced when the customer settles by card, wallet or QR rather than cash. That is a rate that depends on how the diner pays, decided at the moment of settlement.
GrandPOS applies the correct rate based on actual tender and recalculates if the tender changes before the bill closes. A system that applies one flat rate will either overcharge card customers or under-collect on cash.
What GrandPOS does not do: SRB e-invoicing
GrandPOS is not integrated with the Sindh Revenue Board for e-invoicing. It computes SRB rates correctly, but it does not transmit invoices to SRB or print an authority-issued invoice number and verification QR on the receipt.
If your restaurant is required to be integrated, you need a system that already is. Several Pakistani vendors offer it and we would rather say so here than let you find out during onboarding.
Payment rails Karachi restaurants actually use
Cash remains dominant, cards are common in the higher-spend segment, and Raast, JazzCash and Easypaisa cover the rest. GrandPOS records tender by type, which matters twice: for the tax rate, and for the shift close.
Subscription billing accepts the same rails — card, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa, in PKR, to a Pakistani company.
Built for the connection you have
Load shedding and connectivity gaps are ordinary here, and a POS that stops when the internet does stops the restaurant. Offline mode caches the menu and queues orders, syncing when the connection returns.
WhatsApp is the customer channel
Email receipts are largely ignored in this market; WhatsApp is where diners actually are. GrandPOS sends receipts over WhatsApp from your restaurant’s own Business number through the official Meta Cloud API — not from a shared vendor number.

Frequently asked questions
Does GrandPOS handle Sindh sales tax correctly?
Yes. It applies the standard rate on cash bills and the reduced rate when settlement is by card, wallet or QR, and recalculates if the tender changes before the bill is closed.
Is GrandPOS integrated with SRB for e-invoicing?
No. It calculates SRB rates correctly but does not transmit invoices to the authority or print an SRB invoice number and QR. If you are required to be integrated, choose a vendor that already is.
Do you support restaurants outside Karachi?
Yes — GrandPOS is cloud software and works anywhere. Support is remote, over WhatsApp and email. Karachi is simply where we are and where most of our customers are today.
Can I pay in PKR?
Yes. Pricing is in PKR to a Pakistani company, payable by card, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa.
