1. Who we are

GrandPOS is a product of Grandify Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"). We provide a cloud software platform with point-of-sale, kitchen display, inventory, reporting, and customer messaging tools for restaurants. Our product website is https://grandpos.vercel.app/. Our company website is https://grandify.tech/.

Legal entity: Grandify Technologies, 37-B, Main Shahra-e-Faisal, P.E.C.H.S Block 6, Karachi, Sindh 75350, Pakistan. Email: hammaad@grandify.tech.

We act as a Meta Tech Provider: restaurants (our clients) connect their own WhatsApp Business accounts through our product so they can send transactional messages such as digital order receipts to their customers.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Account information (email, name, phone number)
  • Restaurant information (name, location, business phone)
  • Order, payment, and sales data entered in the POS
  • Customer information you enter (for example name and phone for receipts)
  • WhatsApp / Meta Platform Data granted when a restaurant connects WhatsApp (for example WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, message delivery status, and related business asset metadata needed to send and manage messages)

3. How we use information

We use this information only to:

  • Provide and improve the GrandPOS Service
  • Process orders, subscriptions, and support requests
  • Enable restaurants to send WhatsApp order receipts and related transactional messages from their own WhatsApp Business number
  • Show delivery status and message history inside the restaurant's account
  • Send technical notices and respond to support questions

We do not sell personal data. We do not use client WhatsApp / Meta Platform Data to build advertising audiences, train unrelated AI models, or market to a restaurant's customers on our own behalf.

4. Meta Platform Data (WhatsApp Tech Provider)

When a restaurant connects WhatsApp through Embedded Signup, Meta grants our app access to that restaurant's WhatsApp business assets so we can operate messaging features inside GrandPOS.

  • Who owns the data: The restaurant owns its WhatsApp Business Account, phone number, templates, and customer conversations. We process this data as a service provider on the restaurant's behalf.
  • What we access: Only what is required to register the restaurant's sender, submit utility templates (such as order receipts), send messages the restaurant initiates, and display delivery status in the POS.
  • Who can see it: Only authorized staff of that restaurant (and our support staff when the restaurant asks for help). Restaurant A cannot access Restaurant B's WhatsApp data.
  • Customer consent: Restaurants are responsible for collecting customer opt-in before sending WhatsApp messages, and for honoring opt-outs (for example STOP).

5. Account and billing notifications we send to you

Separately from the messaging features restaurants use with their own WhatsApp accounts, we (Grandify Technologies) send our own subscribers operational notifications about their GrandPOS account — for example subscription renewal reminders, grace-period notices, and payment or billing confirmations.

  • Channel: These are sent by email and, if you provide a WhatsApp number, over WhatsApp using our messaging provider Twilio as a processor. They are transactional ("utility") messages, not marketing.
  • Consent: You provide your WhatsApp number and agree to receive these notifications when you sign up (providing a number is optional), and you can add or change it later in your account.
  • Opt out: Stop WhatsApp notifications anytime by replying STOP to any message or emailing hammaad@grandify.tech. We honor and log opt-outs and will not message a number that has opted out.
  • Frequency: Low — tied to your billing cycle and account events only.

6. Data sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Infrastructure providers that host the Service (for example database and hosting providers)
  • Messaging partners required to deliver WhatsApp messages (Meta and, where applicable, Twilio) acting as processors for that feature
  • Law enforcement when required by law

7. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each restaurant's data is isolated from others using access controls and row-level security. Access tokens for WhatsApp are stored encrypted.

8. Data retention

We retain account and operational data while your subscription is active. After account termination, we retain data for up to 30 days for recovery, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law. Message logs needed for delivery troubleshooting may be retained for a limited operational period.

9. Your rights

Restaurants and end users may request to:

  • Access their personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of their data
  • Export their data
  • Disconnect WhatsApp from GrandPOS (which stops further Platform Data use)

How to request deletion: email hammaad@grandify.tech with your restaurant name and account email, or follow the step-by-step instructions on our Data deletion page. After confirmation we retain data for up to 30 days for recovery, then delete or anonymize it unless law requires longer retention.
